What your plan may cover

Under the Affordable Care Act and the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, most plans must cover substance use disorder treatment at a level comparable to medical and surgical care. What that means in practice varies by policy — which is exactly what verification tells you.

Medical detox

24/7 supervised withdrawal management with comfort medication.

Inpatient rehab

Residential treatment with on-site medical and clinical staff.

Medication-assisted treatment

Suboxone, Vivitrol and Sublocade alongside therapy.

Dual diagnosis care

Treatment for addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions together.

PHP and IOP

Structured day and evening programmes while you live at home.

Aftercare

Ongoing support and relapse prevention after treatment ends.

What if I don't have insurance?

Call us anyway. Not having coverage does not mean you are out of options — we can talk through self-pay arrangements, and we can point you toward state-funded and low-cost programmes in the Dallas–Fort Worth area if that is the better route for you. Insurance verification FAQs

Does verifying my insurance cost anything or commit me to treatment?

No. Verification is free and carries no obligation. We check your benefits, explain what we find, and you decide what to do next.

How long does it take?

Most verifications are completed the same business day. If you submit outside business hours, an admissions specialist will follow up as soon as possible — and you can always call (866) 971-7393, which is staffed around the clock.

What information do you need from me?

Your name, date of birth, the insurance company, and the member ID and group number from your card. A photo of the front and back of the card works too.

Will my employer or family find out?

Your treatment information is protected by HIPAA and by 42 CFR Part 2, the federal rule that specifically covers substance use disorder records. We do not contact your employer. Be aware that your insurer may send an explanation of benefits to the policyholder, so if you are on someone else's plan, mention it when you speak to us and we will talk through the options.

Is verification the same as a guarantee that my treatment will be paid for?

No, and any facility that tells you otherwise is overstating it. Verification tells you what your policy says about coverage and cost. Final payment depends on your insurer's determination of medical necessity and on the terms of your plan at the time of service. We will always be straightforward with you about what is confirmed and what is not.

I'm in Dallas — is your facility actually in Dallas?

Our facility is at 2219 W Euless Blvd in Euless, which sits between Dallas and Fort Worth, roughly a 20-minute drive from downtown Dallas. We admit clients from across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, and transportation can usually be arranged.

Insurance verification is a courtesy service. A verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment or of coverage. Coverage is determined by your insurer based on your plan terms and its assessment of medical necessity at the time services are rendered. Tru Dallas Detox does not provide medical advice through this page; call (866) 971-7393 to speak with our clinical admissions team. If this is a medical emergency, call 911.
